Verification helps create a safe, reliable platform for both hosts and travelers. Before your experience goes live, we take a few steps to confirm your identity and ensure the experiences you offer are genuine, safe, and culturally respectful.

Identity Verification (You, the Host) #
Before your listing is approved, you’ll be asked to provide:
- A valid government-issued ID (e.g., national ID, passport, driver’s license)
- A clear photo or selfie for face matching
- Basic bio or background information about you as a host or guide
- (Optional): Social media handles or links to your website for credibility
Tusangaire uses this information for verification only we don’t share your ID with guests.
Experience Verification (What You’re Offering) #
Once your listing is submitted, we check:
- Experience details – Are they clear, safe, and aligned with our values?
- Photos – Are they original and represent the actual location or activity?
- Cultural sensitivity – Are local customs respected?
- Location accuracy – Is the experience held where you say it is?
Depending on your experience type, we may request:
- A video call walkthrough of your space or activity
- References from previous guests or community leaders
- A short video of you explaining what guests will do and learn
Status Updates #
After you submit:
- You’ll see a “Pending Approval” tag on your account
- You’ll be notified via email or if any edits or clarifications are needed
- Once approved, your experiences goes live on the Tusangaire app
This usually takes 1–3 working days.
